Frank gets flirty with 30’s

Posted June 15th by Scott Maggs in New work

Health insurance snuck up on us last Friday night. There we were, talking about travel, busy weeks and so forth then boom. Right out of nowhere came health insurance. Pretty soon we were talking about ambulance cover, couples discounts and checkups. Next thing, a bloke called Luke reaches into his mouth and pulled out a metal plate attached to three false teeth. Crazy times.

I was glad we had the chat. I haven’t been to the dentist in years and seeing Lukes chops glistening in the moonlight made me want to sign up then and there. In our hectic lifestyles it takes a night like last Friday to make health insurance shuffle up the priority list.

So when Frank joined the throng of companies scrambling to sign up the thirty plus market before the ‘EOFY increased fees crunch time’, we decided to have a bit of fun with it. Our first campaign teamed up with lastminute.com.au to give a $100 voucher to anyone who signed up for combined cover before June 30. Frank knows health insurance isn’t the most exciting of activities so we rewarded new members with an unforgettable experience of the best kind.

Our second campaign was a targeted EDM entitled, “Ten signs your over 30”. It featured a collection of scary-real insights into the realms of thirtydom. There was a 10% discount on offer and we encouraged recipients to forward the jokes on to friends. It’d be easy to use scare tactics with increasing fees imposed by the government, but Frank thought it’d be more fun to…well…have more fun. Thanks Frank, and Luke, keep smiling mate.
